I was a short kid.  One day, in 3rd or 4th grade, a boy in my class teased me by saying "I bet when you look at he empire state building you have to lean all the way back! Cuz you're so short!"

And quite frankly, my childish brain didn't quite compute that, um, EVERYONE had to do that...unless, of course, they're King Kong.

A photo a day...

Part of taking oneself seriously as, well, anything, is to practice it consistently.  Whether it's writing, coaching, photography...a consistent practice, full of exploration and silliness (cuz that's what keeps it fun!) is key.  So...I want to take a photo every day.  Or at least post a photo every day. :)

I'm posting this one because I want to believe that a) I'm going to do it b) it's going to help me hone my craft and c) that it'll be an awesomely awesome year, full of growth and love and learning for me and everyone I know.
